My eldest grandchild had come to play
She was full of smiles and laughter, such a loving child
As she grew older, she sometimes could be a little wild
A wonderful woman she has grown to be
It is such a great joy for me to see
In a few short days she weds her best friend
That does not mean her fun shall end
The best days of her life are
In a few short days she will be wed
